First SpaceShipOne Space Attempt Planned for June 21

Scaled Composites and Vulcan announced today that the world's first attempt at launching a private piloted craft — SpaceShipOne — to space altitude (100 km, 62 miles, 328,000 feet) is planned for June 21, a Monday.

Ecliptic has been supporting this pioneering effort for nearly two years, supplying the onboard RocketCam video systems for both SpaceShipOne and its launch aircraft, White Knight.
