Colorado Springs, Colorado, April 14, 2026.

Ecliptic Enterprises, a pioneer in space avionics and imaging systems with more than 220 missions flown, has announced a strategic development agreement with The Extraterrestrial Investment Company to jointly advance next-generation space computing capabilities.

Under this agreement, both organizations will collaborate on the development of the Deep Space Flight Computer (DSFC) Series, a modular and scalable computing platform designed to support a wide range of space missions, from Low Earth Orbit to deep space exploration.

The DSFC Series will include multiple core modules, such as single board computers, FPGA processing units, storage systems, network switching boards, and power supply units, all based on the SpaceVPX architecture. This approach is intended to enhance interoperability, reduce integration complexity, and enable flexible mission configurations.

Through this collaboration, Ecliptic and The Extraterrestrial Investment Company aim to deliver high-performance, radiation-tolerant, and fault-tolerant computing solutions capable of operating in the harsh environments of space. The partnership is expected to contribute to the development of critical infrastructure required for the emerging deep space economy.

By combining Ecliptic’s extensive heritage in space-qualified avionics with the strategic investment and vision of The Extraterrestrial Investment Company, the agreement strengthens both organizations’ positions in the advancement of next-generation space systems.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to innovation and to enabling more capable, reliable, and scalable computing architectures that will support the future of space exploration and commercial space missions.
